In 1997, we researched the labels of the commercial pet food industry and canine nutrition. Unfortunately we discovered many products are poor sources of protein and carbohydrates - because they're loaded with sugar, salt, chemical flavor enhancers, chemical preservatives and food colorings. These are not ingredients that contribute to a long and healthy life for your dog. We were inspired to create GALLOPING GOURMUTTS!
Our bakery is dedicated to creating threats that are healthy, low in calories, low in fat yet...doggy-licious!
We use fresh, wholesome and all-natural ingredients in each batch coming out of our oven. Salt, sugar, eggs, preservatives, food colorings or flavor enhancers are not part of our grocery list and are never added to any of our treats.
We use ingredients such as: whole wheat & rye flours, oats, honey, carrots, ginger and carob.
